Fresh off the boat
This hilarious series follows Eddie Huang and his first-generation Asian American family as they try to find balance between their own culture and the melting-pot that is the U.S. Whether you can relate to Eddie’s experiences first hand or not, the show offers up some of the freshest family friendly comedy on TV today.

Okay, more like Batboy. Gotham follows the early origin stories of Bruce Wayne, Commissioner Gordan and the villans we’ve all come to know and love. The series is a great starting place for new comers to the franchise as well as long-time fans. Captivating and well thought out, Gotham offers a peak at what made the city what it was prior to the Bat flying onto the scene.

Runner up: Love
Love is a fantastic Netflix original worth checking out with your significant other. Quirky and flawed, the series reflects the challenges many modern couples may be able to relate to. Painfully awkward yet emotionally gratifying, Love offers an experience worth bingeing.
